The parking options within walking distance of Horseshoe Falls and American Falls. Rates, distances, and advice for 2026.
If your priority is getting as close to the water as possible, you have three main options on the Canadian side: the Table Rock Centre parkade directly below the observation area, the Queen Victoria Park surface lot along the Parkway, and the private lots on Fallsview Boulevard. Each trades cost for convenience in predictable ways.
The closer you park, the more you pay — and the faster lots fill on summer weekends. Horseshoe Falls draws over 12 million visitors a year, and the parking supply near the brink simply does not match peak demand. If you arrive between 10 AM and 3 PM on a Saturday in July, expect competition for every spot.
The Canadian side has unique access to sightlines on both Horseshoe Falls and American Falls. The Queen Victoria Park lot is arguably better positioned for seeing both than the Table Rock underground parkade — from the Parkway surface, you can walk north to the American Falls viewpoint and south to the Horseshoe brink without moving your car.
Table Rock, while closer to Horseshoe Falls, puts you underground and walking uphill toward American Falls adds 5–7 minutes each way. For photographers and people who want to maximize time at both falls, the Queen Victoria Park lot is worth the slightly lower rate and added convenience.
All three main falls-view lots have designated accessible parking spaces. The Table Rock parkade has accessible bays on all levels with elevator direct to the observation deck — this is the most seamless accessible experience. Queen Victoria Park lot has accessible spaces near the WEGO bus stop and drop-off area. See our full accessible parking guide for drop-off zones and AODA-compliant routes.
The Table Rock Centre parkade is the closest lot to Horseshoe Falls — it is literally below the observation deck at the brink of the Falls. Expect to pay $20–$30/day in peak season for that convenience.
Yes. The Queen Victoria Park surface lot along the Niagara Parkway has open sightlines to the gorge and American Falls. Some spaces near the edge of the lot look directly toward the water. It is one of the most scenic parking locations in the park.
Fallsview Boulevard private lots are approximately a 5–8 minute walk from the Horseshoe Falls observation area at Table Rock. They offer a mid-range price point between the cheap Rapidsview lot and the premium Table Rock parkade.
The Queen Victoria Park lot and the area near Oakes Garden Theatre off River Road are the best options for viewing American Falls from the Canadian side. Both are Niagara Parks Commission lots with WEGO access.
Arrive before 9 AM on summer weekends to secure a spot in any of the closer lots. By 10:30 AM in July and August, Table Rock parkade and Queen Victoria Park lot are typically at capacity. Weekday mornings have noticeably more availability.
